About the Event
It will be an introduction to a unique experience as we would move from Yang to Yin- a class for everyone, helping us let go of stress and creating self-awareness. The workshop starts with a "Yang"practice (masculine energy according to Chinese Philosophy) which would help us heat up the body (Vinayasa flow). Followed by a "Yin" practice (feminine energy) for calming down and relaxing ourselves.
Yin is as important as Yang and we need both in order to find balance in our lives; in our body and mind.
Teju (Anahata Yogini) is trained in Hatha, Hatha vinyasa, & Ashtanga styles of yoga. Her classes focus on awareness of body movement as the central philosophy for exploring the mind, body and breath.
